Food Photography & Styling

I have been photographing and styling food for nearly 10 years and I understand the impact that visually stunning images can make to a project and make it shine. As the saying goes "a picture speaks a thousand words" and this is never as true in our instagramable world. Your image needs to grab the viewer and make them stop what they are doing, to pause and look a little further at you - YOUR PRODUCT! It needs to pack a punch and make a statement, be not only visually stunning but also drool worthy. That’s where I come in.

My food photography services reach toward photographing recipes and products to be used for cookbooks, brochures, apps, social media campaigns, e-commerce images and much more. I not only prepare the recipe/food, style it to perfection I then capture the dish or product, edit the images and deliver them to you all tied nicely with a bow…. well if I could send them with a bow I would. When you hire me you are essentially hiring three people in one - cook, stylist & photographer.

I have experience in photographing many different styles of work from editorial and magazine styles to catalogue and product photography. Varying from light and bright and airy styles to dark and moody. You name it I can generally create the look you are after.

You can view my portfolio here of some of the images I have created for food photography.

I don’t have anywhere to shoot my project?

You’re in luck! I have a home based studio here in Toowoomba which is fully equipped to shoot whatever you need done. You can find more about Millview Studio here.

How do I go about hiring you for a project?

The first step is heading over to my contact page and sending through an enquiry regarding you project.

Before you do here are some tips on sending through your project details….

  1. Details are key - send as much information as you can. Who you are, what the project is, how many images/products/recipes you need captured.

  2. Make sure you contact details are correct - double check those details as I can’t send you back through a quote if you email is incorrect.

  3. Plan Ahead - this one is the most important. My bookings generally stretch anyway from 1-6 weeks ahead so if you have a project coming up factor that in to your prep.

Are you ready to work together? I am!! Send me an email so we can talk further about the needs of your project.
